RSA Conference 2011: Smartphone threats imminent, security lacking…
Dave and Bill were joined Joyce Brocaglia in the CyberHood today!! They discussed Alta Associates’ Executive Women’s Forum, (EWF) and there announcement the educating K-12 school aged children about cyber security called the “Cyber Security School Challenge”. The alliance is being backed by Carnegie Mellon University, the National Cyber Security Alliance and Own Your Space. This is a major initiative that is expected to educate thousands of kids by the end of the year. We want to thank Joyce Brocaglia for taking an hour of her busy day at the RSA Conference to share her program with us, check out her interview below:

Nicole and Rochelle are both joining Dave and Bill today in the CyberHood to share their stories, experiences, advice and tips about how to keep safe online, they will each be on for an hour… you’ll want to listen to, and be a part of both hours it is going to be awesome!!
Krystle Nicole Russin will talk about dangers of children meeting criminals online, the basics. I know of a good case I can mention about a Mexican middle aged man coming to Texas meeting – and basically taking a girl out of her middle school – kidnapping a 14 year old. I’m sure there are others. I can do sort of a parental warning and things I recall about it from back in my early internet kid days.
